I was in Montmiral for two weeks. The small walled town was very picturesque. I made the sketch for this standing in the street outside of where I was staying.
Inscription on back of card:
I made this drawing during an art course. The teacher had asked what my vision was, and I told him skies like Turner, solid masses like Hopper, and colors like Matisse. I had no idea how it would come together, or even if it could, but this was as far as I got.
This card is blank inside.
