Girl with a Red Sash
$4.50Price
Only 9 left in stock
This young girl has a lace trim along the neckline of her dress, as does the Woman with a Red Flower, but the flounce and the covered shoulders make it demure. Or maybe it's her demeanor.
Inscription on back of card:
By the 19th century, Venetian lace manufacturing was at a low point. In 1867, two men came up with the same plan: to teach orphans, girls, and women who were "gifted with beauty... [but] lacking the means to earn an honest living" to make the finest lace.
This card is blank inside.
The back side is printed with the following:
The work's title, the year it was made, the medium, the artist's name, and contact info.
There may be an inscription, which is subject to change.
