This Madonna and Child had been painted on a church wall probably, but I saw it in the Museo Correr. I loved the original composition and the mauve lace veil Our Lady is wearing.

There was a beautiful 15th-century Madonna and Child in the Museo Correr in Venice. Painting it gave me time to ponder it more deeply.
